4 Hot Barista Boy Stars
*Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the Author in exchange for a honest review*
The best part about being a reviewer and blogger is meeting awesome people and one of the first awesome authors I met was C.C. Brown. This is the third book that she has published and I am so proud of her! I love that I can see the progression of her writing in each one!
The Story:
Shattered starts out a bit different than your normal romance novel. We get to see the disintegration of one relationship and the building of another. But that what makes it such a great story, it's not following the trends, it's truly written from the heart....not because of a want to just get something out to the masses. And the best part???? It's a Standalone!!!!!!!!
The Heroine:
Dallis O'Brien
Dallis O'Brien
With most romance novels you get a girl who is sweet and romantic and while Dallis could be sweet and romantic....she isn't! At first I didn't like her....ok I kind of hated her, but as the story progressed and I was able to get a handle on her character I really started to like her.
The Hero:
Grayson Rivera
Holy Hot Barista Boy!!!!! He's sexy, he's smart, he's a business owner and he's TATTOOED! and we all know how much I love a tattooed boy! Grayson is a great BBF. He knows just when to push Dallis forward but is also there to hold her when she needs it. All I know is I have to fight off a few other bloggers to get to him! (Hey Trev!!!)
The Steam:
I love the steam in this book! It's hot, it's sexy and it's perfect!
The Cover:
Recommendation:
The cover really isn't a stand out cover in the line up of current books but once you read the story it really does become the perfect cover.
Recommendation:
I can easily recommend this book to ALL romance novel lovers! Especially ones who love tattooed boys!

About The Author:
Just a book reading, writing loving, mommy and USMC wife! :)
I love to write, even if it isn't what is conventional and
makes everyone feel giddy inside. I usually pull from dreams, or ideas that
just thrust themselves into my head. I have what some would describe as a dry
sense of humor, and I think its conveyed in my writing. I like to think I am a
kick ass chick, but I can also be sensitive. I'm learning to grow thick skin,
and in this field, it is definitely needed!
I won't put anything out that I am not absolutely proud of,
but like E.L. James said, "I can't own people's reactions to it."
Thanks for reading my work... I do appreciate it!
